UP Fighting Maroons’ ‘fitness, bright minds’ earn praise, support

MANILA, Philippines – Robinsons Supermarket and Handyman are jointly supporting the men’s basketball team of the University of the Philippines in this year’s UAAP season.

Jody Gadia, General Manager of Robinsons Supermarket, said, “This team of young active players embodies what living wellness is all about.”

“Not only do these student athletes have fit and healthy bodies, but bright minds typical of a UP scholar too,” said Gadia, a Fighting Maroon himself.

Robinsons Supermarket and Handyman hope that the UP Fighting Maroons will set an example to the youth on sportsmanship, education and in having a well-balanced lifestyle.
