Tougher Rexona run set Aug. 12 at MOA

CAN YOU finish a 5-kilometer run in 30 minutes? How about a 10K race in one hour flat?
Weekend and recreational runners will try to meet these challenges in the 3rd Rexona Run set Aug. 12 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds in Pasay.
There will be special awards for those who will cross the 5K finish line in 30 minutes or less after the 6:20 a.m. gunstart and for 21K relay participants, if the two runners can complete 10.5K each in no more than 2 hours.
There will also be a solo 21K category which will award P7,000, P5,000 and P4,000 to the podium finishers. The 21K relay top three placers will pocket P5,000, P4,000 and P3,000.
“Each year, Rexona raises the bar and this year will be no different,” said Rexona brand manager Anne Remulla during yesterday’s press conference at Outback restaurant in Makati. “We’re introducing new developments that will inspire running enthusiasts to strive to outrun themselves.”
Registration is ongoing until July 29 at Riovana stores in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig and Katipunan, Quezon City and Toby’s branches in Trinoma and SM MOA.
