Philippines to face Vietnam anew in AFF Suzuki Cup

MANILA, Philippines—The Philippines drew a familiar foe in Vietnam in the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 Draw Wednesday at the Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Azkals will look to snuff thoughts of its spellbinding 2-0 win over Vietnam as just a stroke of luck.

Thailand and the winner of the qualifying stage joined both countries in Group A.

Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and the qualifier runner-up make up Group B.

The Philippines will open its campaign against Thailand on November 24 before clashing with Vietnam three days after.

The Azkals wound up their schedule with a November 30 match with the top qualifier.
