Allana Lim leads FEU over Ateneo in UAAP women’s hoops

MANILA, Philippines – Defending champion Far Eastern University stretched its winning run to nine after beating Ateneo, 54-44, Tuesday in the UAAP Season 75 women’s basketball tournament at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Allana Lim flirted with a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds to go along with three assists as the Lady Tamaraws, who are now assured of a playoff for a final four slot, proved to be unstoppable still, at 9-0.

Meanwhile, Adamson nipped University of Santo Tomas, 75-72, to tighten its hold of the second spot.

Marianne Tongco pumped in 15 points as the Lady Falcons chalked up their seventh win against only two setbacks.

Lim, once unleashed 45 points in FEU’s 85-43 victory over University of the East.
