Phil Younghusband makes it 2-0 for PH Azkals over Singapore

MANILA, Philippines — Phil Younghusband doubled the Philippines lead, 2-0, early in the second half over Singapore in a friendly match Friday night.

Younghusband, who has sent several shots wide dating back to the Azkals’ match versus Cambodia, finally pulled one back in the 48th minute.

Chieffy Caligdong found the back of the net at the eighth minute, giving the Azkals an early edge after settling for a scoreless draw against Cambodia.

The Azkals are on a three-country tour as a part of their build-up for the AFF Suzuki Cup.
