NCA stag series sizzles Tuesday
With the big guns of local cockfighting competing, the National Cockers Alliance (NCA) stag derby circuit fires off on Tuesday next week at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
The derby’s guests—Bong Pineda, James Uy, Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Ferdie Eusebio, Jun Mendoza, Johnny Jalandoni and Mayor Alonte—are expected to have their hands full stealing the limelight from NCA members.
Before they are banded on the morning of the Sagupaan-sponsored derby, the stags will be inspected by Johnny Jalandoni to ensure that only legitimate stags are allowed to fight.
Part of the proceeds of NCA derbies goes to a scholarship fund for underprivileged students at University of the Philippines-Los Baños.
