MANILA, Philippines—The Philippine women’s football team ended its campaign on a winning note following a 7-2 drubbing of winless Singapore Monday night in the Asean Football Federation (AFF) women’s championship at Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The Philippine Malditas got off to good start and finished the match even better with five goals in the second half.
The Malditas got blanked by Myanmar, 0-3, in their first game before yielding to Vietnam, 2-4, last Saturday.
