Yee sparkles as LSGH pads margin to 35

LONG-HITTING Miggy Yee tamed the short Capitol Hills course with a 2-under-par 62 equivalent to 60 points in the Molave system of scoring as La Salle Greenhills pulled away by 35 points at the resumption of the Juniors Division action recently in the ICTSI-JGFP Interschool golf tournament.

Coming off a 53-point performance at the Aguinaldo layout, Yee was even better at Capitol Hills and got all the support from teammates JP de Claro and Luigi Guerrero, who chalked up 49 and 48 points, respectively, to give the Greenies a 153 for the round and a 36-hole aggregate of 304.

So powerful was the LSGH assault that AR Ramos and Iñigo Raymundo with their 47 and 46, respectively, did not count.

Nicholas Dy-Buncio tried to keep it close for Xavier but his team was still outscored by five and found themselves facing a deficit in the tournament supported  chiefly by the International Container Terminal Services Inc. and also sponsored by the Pancake House Group, Sizzlin’ Pepper,  Golf Depot and Philippines Airlines.
