MANILA, Philippines—San Beda and Letran have almost a week to prepare for the deciding clash of the heated 88th NCAA men’s basketball finals.

The winner-take-all game three is set on Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, announced NCAA chairman Fr. Vic Calvo of host Letran on his Twitter account (@victor88calvo).

The Knights, for the first time since the first round of 2007 season, bucked a sluggish third quarter and defeated the Red Lions, 64-55, to forge a rubber match.
