Global FC books slot after beating Loyola-Meralco

MANILA, Philippines – Global FC edged Loyola-Meralco Sparks 2-1 in their semifinals match Tuesday for the first finals slot in the UFL Cup at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

Alex Obiang opened up the scoring for Global in the 6th minute before Izzo El-Habbib came through in the 83rd minute for a 2-0 edge.

James Younghusband scored Loyola’s lone goal in the 86th minute.

Global FC with face either Stallion FC or Green Archers United in the Finals.
