Parks, Salva bag PSBank top player awards

NATIONAL University’s Ray Parks and Ateneo’s Nico Salva won the PSBank Maaasahan Player of the Season trophy and the Maaasahan Finals MVP, respectively, for powering their teams in the recent UAAP basketball tournament eventually won by the Blue Eagles.

Parks averaged 21.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks in the eliminations to cop the season award while Salva won the Finals trophy for the second successive year by helping the Eagles to their fifth straight UAAP championship.

Parks received P100,000 and Salva P30,000. The awards were credited to their PSBank Debit MasterCards which they can use to shop and dine in Mastercard-affiliiated establishments and buy from online stores.

PSBank has backed the league since 2003.
