RGBA ‘Bakbakan’ semis under way at PSG

MEMBERS of the Rizal Gamefowl Breeders Association (RGBA) collide at 11 a.m. today at Pasig Square Garden in the second phase of the grueling runup to the 2012 Bakbakan 11-Stag National Derby.

Led by the group’s president Joey Sy, RGBA is seeking a second straight Bakbakan crown after partners Ralph Daigo and Ronnie Magbalon won top honors in 2010. A separate 4-cock semifinal is set at PSG on Dec. 2, not Dec. 1 as originally announced.

Backed by Thunderbird Romoxty, RGBA’s 4-stag finals for those with 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5 points is set at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig on Dec. 4.
