Folayang, Kelly test mettle of foreign MMA foes

EDUARD “The Landslide” Folayang and Eric “The Natural” Kelly, two of the biggest names in local mixed martial arts (MMA), collide against foreign rivals in the Universal Reality Combat Championship-Colt 45 XXII dubbed “Dekada” today at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
Folayang battles American Lowen Tynanes in the “Superfight” event while Kelly tries to extend his unbeaten run to nine against Brad Terrey of Thailand’s Phuket Top Team.
The 10-fight affair is the highlight of URCC’s 10th year.
“It’s going to be a night to remember because the fighters are the best in their divisions,” said URCC founder and president Alvin Aguilar of the event that starts 8 p.m.
Both Folayang and Kelly will rely on their experience as they bid to end the season with a bang.
Jessie Rafols and Keiff Mangusan will collide for the bantamweight crown in the event also sponsored by Xplay, Anzahl, Solar Sports, Chris Sports, VRP Medical Center.
