‘Digmaan’ finals on at Big Dome

THE WAR is on at Smart Araneta Coliseum starting at 10 a.m. today as 202 matches highlight the battle for the “Digmaan Inaugural Pambansang Pasabong 1st 9-Stag Derby” championship.

At stake is P6,000,000 for the champion, part of the more than P15 million total prize.

Cockfights Magazine publisher Wilvin Sy leads the 68 five-pointers.  He will be joined by 38 entries with 4.5 points apiece.  Sy’s Dragon 2012 Aklan GBA with L. Lou and another bet Try & Try Again are among the top contenders in the event hosted by the Philippine Federation of Gamefowl Breeders and sponsored by Energel.

Other title hopefuls are Carlos Tumpalan, Rey Briones, Bernie Tacoy, Allan Siaco, Carlos Resultay, Armin Silva, C. Ilio, Rogelio Posadas, Samuel Magdangal, Romeo Suganob, F. Olvis, J. Ceasar Nero, JP Dizon & Randy Rodillo, Danny Boaquina, Gilbert Suarez, Dr. John Ang, J. Paolo Herrero, Rey Galve, Arnold Ledesma, Bobby Fernandez, Dennis Ibasco, Roylan Mercado, Vera Cruz Villamor and Nestor Razon.
