Millets lead North team

THE NORTH team, behind the impressive performance of cousins Arvin and Jannery Millet, overpowered the South squad in the “North Meets South: The All-Philippine Drag Racing Invitational” at Clark International Speedway recently.

The Tarlac-based Millet cousins accounted for four of seven titles at stake, enough to assure the North team of victory.

Arvin bagged the Pro Class crown over John Kalaw and later emerged champion in  the All-Motor run.

Jannery clinched the Expert plum over teammate Errol Miranda and copped the Sportsman title over Winston Lloyd Tan Loang.

Six-time titlist Jonathan Tiu experienced engine problems that barred him from joining the Quick 8 battle and  placed just third in the Super Pro division behind Jayson Ong Teofilo Edwin Cayco.
