Energen tilt: NU battles Don Bosco
NATIONAL University eyes the third spot when it battles Don Bosco Technical College in the Energen Mini-Youth Ball Metro Invitationals this weekend at the Blue Eagle Gym.
The Bullpups shoot for a third triumph against the Junior Greywolves at 1 p.m., while Notre Dame of Greater Manila and Don Bosco Technical Institute shoot for their first victory at 9:20 a.m. today in the Contender division (12-14 age group).
Both Notre Dame and DBTI also try to go separate ways from a 1-3 tie in the lone Mini division (9-11 age group) match at 10:50 a.m.
La Salle Green Hills stands unbeaten in six games in the Contender division, followed by Lourdes School Mandaluyong (3-1), Ateneo-A (3-3), NU (2-2), Ateneo-B (2-2), DBTC (0-1), Notre Dame (0-3) and DBTI (0-4).
Similarly unstoppable in the Mini games, the Junior Archers own a perfect 5-0 slate as Xavier School (5-1), Ateneo-A (4-2) and Ateneo-B (3-2) try to stay within striking distance. Rounding up the pack are Notre Dame (1-3), DBTI (1-3), Lourdes (0-4) and DBTC (0-4).
