MANILA, Philippines – College of St. Benilde scored a 25-7, 25-14, 25-13 drubbing of listless Mapua Tuesday in the NCAA Season 88 women’s volleyball tournament at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
The Lady Blazers leaned on Jeanette Panaga’s 10 points to handily beat the skidding Lady Cardinals, who dropped to 0-4.
CSB nailed its third win in as many games.
Meanwhile, San Sebastian had a tough time in the opening two sets before turning back Jose Rizal University, 25-22, 25-23, 25-13.
Gretchel Soltones led the Lady Stags with 14 points.
The Lady Stags upped their mark to 3-1 while the Lady Bombers slipped to 0-4.
