Chair’s Cup caps Capitol’s successful year
Ed Rendon and Vicente Sumulong claimed top honors in the members division while sisters Miya and Missy Legaspi led the winners in the jungolf event of the recent 2nd Chairman’s Cup at Capitol Hills Golf and Country Club in Diliman.
Rendon captured the low gross award with his 61 and finished with the lowest net under the Double Peoria scoring system.
Miya topped Class B with a 58 and Missy’s 63 gave her the Class D trophy in the jungolf side event, part of Capitol’s drive to promote youth golf development in coordination with the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines. The other boys winners were Charles Corpuz in
Class A, Aldo Barro in Class B, Aidric Chan in Class C. Ashia Nocum joined the Legaspi sisters in the roster of girls winners.
In the same event, Capitol Hills general manager Joe Dagdagan turned over Capitol’s contribution to the jungolf program. Capitol members and guests contribute P5 to JGFP for every round of golf they play.
