Rotary kegfest rolls off
A BOWLING tournament organized by the Rotary International District 3780 will be staged every Sunday stating today up to March 3 at Sta. Lucia Center in Cainta, Rizal.
According to district sports chair Valentin “Jun” Asuncion, the event will be called Hands-On Tenpin Bowling Tournament.
Rotary Club of Ayala Heights is the defending Governor’s Cup champion/
Gov. Rufino “Penn” Policarpio is the district governor, Mark Reyes is the president and Gerardo “Gerry” Ramiro is the bowling committee chair.
The tournament committee of the tourney hosted by Rotary Club of Biak Na Bato is Ed Corpuz.
Other Rotarians who help organize the event are Rudy Barot, Non Sariba, Jolan Salino, Ding Deloria, Dino Labro, Nes Tecson and vice president Ramon Fabon.
Competition will start at 9 a.m. (center time).
“This is an annual competition among different Rotary Clubs,” said Asuncion, a former top official of the Quezon City Bowling Association.
