MANILA, Philippines—April Sartin and Honey Rose Tubino teamed up to lead reigning titlist Perpetual Help over Arellano University, 25-21, 19-25, 25-22, 25-18, Tuesday in the NCAA Season 88 women’s volleyball tournament at the Arena in San Juan city.
Sartin and Tubino each had 18 points as the Lady Altas stayed in first-place tie with Emilio Aguinaldo College with identical 7-1 records.
St. Benilde kept its hold of the fourth spot after dominating Jose Rizal University, 25-13, 25-14, 25-9.
Jannine Navarro shone with 16 points for the Lady Blazers, who notched their fifth win against two losses.
The Lady Chiefs slipped to fifth at 5-3.
