Adamson crushes UE in UAAP women’s volleyball

By |

MANILA, Philippines—Adamson crushed winless University of the East, 25-16, 25-14, 25-17, Sunday in the UAAP season 75 women’s volleyball tournament at the Arena in San Juan city.

The Lady Falcons’ one-two punch Pau Soriano and Shiela Pineda lived up to their billing, drilling in game-high 19 points each to hike their winning streak to four.

Just like she did in the first set, Soriano finished off UE with her 17th attack of the game.

With the victory, Adamson caught up with skidding Ateneo in second place—both with 6-3 records.

The Lady Warriors, meanwhile, have not tasted the victory in nine tries— not even coming close against the Lady Falcons on Sunday.

No player from the UE side barged into the double digit barrier with Sarina Bulan topscoring for the team with seven markers.
