MANILA, Philippines – Letran shocked Arellano University, 17-25, 25-22, 25-16, 22-25, 15-11, Monday in the NCAA Season 88 men’s volleyball tournament at the Arena in San Juan.

Rudy Gatdula led the way for the Knights with 24 points.

The Knights spoiled the Chiefs’ chances of making the Final Four, giving Emilio Aguinaldo College the last semifinals spot.

Johnsen Rivadenera added 15 points for Letran.

Arvien Antiquerra had 20 points while Jethrovon Garcia chipped in 17 for Arellano but it wasn’t enough as Letran proved to be the steadier team when it mattered most.
