MANILA, Philippines—National University gets a crack at reigning two-time champion Adamson as the UAAP Season 75 softball championship rolls off Tuesday morning at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.
The Lady Falcons, who haven’t been beaten in 32 games, earned a commanding thrice-to-beat edge after completing a 12-game sweep in the elimination round.
As formidable as the Lady Falcons are, the Lady Bulldogs are up to the daunting task.
“Mabigat pero kaya nating sabayan. Siyam naman ang itataya natin diyan. Iyon ang paniniwala ko,” said NU coach Saki Bacarisas, who also handles the baseball team.
Adamson will continue to lean on reigning Athlete of the Year Rizza Bernardino to lead its charge.
NU edged University of Santo Tomas, 5-3, last Sunday in their do-or-die match to crash into its first Finals appearance.
