A BIGGER field is expected when the Kopiko Astig 3-in-One Supercross Series 2013 shifts to Bais City, Negros Oriental, on March 9 and 10.

The race comes on the heels of the exciting opening leg held at South Road Properties in Cebu last month where Denmark’s top riders squared off with the country’s finest.

Among those who wowed the crowd of 30,000 in Cebu was leg champion and world No. 6 Nikolaj Larsen who led a 1-2 finish for Denmark ahead of Mathias Jorgensen, his country’s reigning Rider of the Year.

Cebuano Jonas Adlawan wound up third and will be counted upon to lead the Filipino charge in the Bais race together with veterans Glenn Aguilar and Jovie Saulog.

Organizers expect close to 160 riders across 15 categories to vie for the titles in the Bais leg.

The Rider of the Year award at the end of the season will be given to the top performer in the series, which will also make stops in Bacolod, Dumaguete, Metro Manila, Pampanga, Dipolog, Tacloban, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Roxas City and Ormoc. Cedelf P. Tupas
