2 C. Lhuillier crowns for Cotabato lass

NORTH Cotabato’s Alliah Regunton grabbed two titles to emerge the most outstanding player in the kickoff leg of the 2013 Cebuana Lhuillier age-group tennis series recently in Kidapawan City.
Regunton drubbed Diadem Sasota, 6-0, 6-2, for the girls 14-under crown, and downed Ivana Caballero, 6-0, 6-2, to claim the 16-under championship in the opening leg of the series which will have 21 stops all over the country.
At least 106 players saw action in the leg, including Lara Nadela who bagged the girls 18-under top plum beating Caballero, 6-3, 6-3. Also winning were Carlyn Bless who beat Shanna Marille Barrios, 6-2, 6-1, in the 12-under final.
Minette April Bentilo outclassed Prince Najeeb Langitao, 4-2, 4-0, for the 10-under unisex title.
Other boys’ division winners were Abson John Alejandre, 16-under; Lordrens Pacheco, 14-under; Miguel Balasa, 18-under; and Mark Directo, 12-under. Marc Anthony Reyes
