Banned Balkman vows incident ‘will never happen again’

MANILA, Philippines—Lesson learned.

After getting slapped with a lifetime ban in the PBA by Commissioner Chito Salud, Renaldo Balkman vowed that the choking incident won’t happen again.

“I respect the Philippine Basketball Association and @PetronBlaze Organization, this situation will never happen again… it’s a lesson learned,” Balkman posted on his Twitter account.

Balkman added: “I accept all responsibilities for my actions while playing an intense game, I have truly enjoyed my time here playing in the Philippines.”
