Juvic shoots 67, trails Thai Open leader by 3


Juvic Pagunsan matched the 5-under-par 67 of former British Open champion Padraig Harrington as they trailed Koumi Oda of Japan who took the lead with a 64 yesterday at the start of the Thailand Open 2013, the opening tournament of the OneAsia Tour at Thanin City Golf and Country Club.

At the $2.3 million Avantha Masters in India, Angelo Que and Elmer Salvador fired identical 1-under-par 71s.  Jay Bayron and Antonio Lascuña, the two other Filipinos in the Asian Tour event, matched par 72. Chinnarat Phadungsil showed the way with an 11-under 61. Inquirer Wires
