Miñoza leads ICTSI Sherwood tourney next week
THE SIXTH season of the ICTSI Philippine Golf Tour fires off next week at Sherwood Hills with no less than the legendary Frankie Miñoza joining the field.
Miñoza won the first local tournament of the year, the rich The Country Club Invitational last month and will definitely be a marked man coming into the inaugural stop of the 17-leg series offering P450,000 to the champ.
The 52-year-old reigning Japan Senior Open champion nipped brothers Rufino and Jay Bayron in sudden death to win the only major local title missing in his glittering collection of championships.
