2012 bar top notcher also ex-Ateneo football skipper

By |

MANILA, Philippines — Aside from being the 2012 bar examination top notcher, Ignatius Michael Ingles also has “three-peat UAAP football champion” across his name.

Ingles, a product of Ateneo Law School, suited up for the Blue Booters who last won three straight championships from 2004 to 2006.

Topping the bar exam with a score of 85.640, Ingles bested the 948 others who passed the bar.

Ingles was also the team captain of that squad, which earned a citation from the Ateneo Sports Hall of Fame for two years and played alongside JP Merida, coach of the present squad which clinched the title in season 75.
