STALLION striker Rufo Sanchez seeks to continue his scoring tear when the UFL Cup champion battles Kaya tonight at Emperador Stadium in Taguig City.
Sanchez, who knocked in four goals in the 6-1 demolition of Army last week, will again lead the line for Stallion, which is seeking to extend its lead at the top.
With 33 points, Stallion is already two ahead of defending champion Global, which will be taking a break from action this week to compete in the AFC Presidents Cup in Cebu.
Kaya is hard-pressed to grab maximum points after three straight draws against squads ranked lower than them.
The 6 points dropped from those draws coupled by Pachanga Diliman’s 3-3 victory over Pasargad last Saturday has relegated Kaya to fifth spot.” Cedelf P. Tupas
