MANILA, Philippines — The Singapore Slingers stretched their unbeaten run to four games after coasting to a 96-72 triumph over Indonesia Satria Muda BritAma in the Asean Basketball League on Sunday at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Powered by American imports Kyle Jeffers and Michael LeBlanc, the Slingers got off to a 16-6 start and extended the gap by as many as 31 points, 62-31, early in the third period.
Jeffers wound up with a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds and LeBlanc, who reinforced the Philippine-Harbour Centre team in the Seaba games last year, contributed 18 markers.
The Slingers will stake their perfect record against the second-running Philippine Patriots at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the FilOil-Flying V Arena in San Juan City.
Indonesia dropped to a share of third place with the Kuala Lumpur Dragons at 2-2, just half a game behind the Patriots’ 2-1 slate.
