BATANGAS AND DUMAGUETE JUST need two hours of clear skies or at least enough time to finish the six remaining innings today and settle things once and for all.

Organizers of the Baseball Philippines Series 3 have decided to push through at 10:30 a.m. with the resumption of the rain-suspended Game 3 of the title series with the Bulls holding a 4-2 lead.

The rubber match was stopped last Sunday following a heavy downpour that soaked the Rizal Memorial baseball park after Batangas second baseman Joseph Apura was caught in a rundown to end the third inning.

“We are pushing through with the game and hopefully the weather will be okay,” said chief organizer Leslie Suntay.

The Bulls took Game 1 of the best-of-three title series, 10-3, before the Unibikers bounced back in Game 2 with a 4-3 decision last Saturday.
Today’s game will start in the fourth inning with Dumaguete batting.
