Olympics: China’s Liu sets 69kg weightlifting world record

BEIJING -- Liu Chunhong of China set a new world record in the women's weightlifting 69kg class by hoisting 125kg in the snatch at the Beijing Olympics on Wednesday.

The old record of 123kg was set by Russian Oxana Slivenko in October 2006.
