MANILA, Philippines—Manny Pacquiao will be on hand when the Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines resumes its search for the next set of amateur ring heroes.

Pacquiao will grace the opening ceremony of the National Boxing Championship on Jan. 18 at the Negros Occidental Multi Purpose Center in Bacolod City.
