MANILA, Philippines - Ateneo rebounded from its first loss with a 61-51 victory over Adamson in the UAAP men's basketball tournament at the Araneta Coliseum.

The Eagles reclaimed the solo lead with a 4-1 win-loss slate while the Falcons skidded to 1-4.

In the earlier game, La Salle blasted National University, 68-48, for its third straight win in the tournament.

The Archers climbed to fourth place at 3-2, while the Bulldogs fell to 1-4.
