MANILA, Philippines ?Action in the Women?s Golf Association of the Philippines (WGAP) circuit is expected to be fierce as pacesetting Alabang and second running Canlubang press their respective bids in the sixth leg of the series at the Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmarinas, Cavite Monday.

The Cangolf ladies produced a seven-point performance the last time out at Southwoods, topping Class B and placing second in Classes A and C in their most impressive outing thus far in the eight-leg circuit.

That gave them a total of 17 points in the race for the overall championship, closing in on Alabang, which pooled 22 points on two third-place finishes.

The Orchard leg was actually slated last week but was reset for today with Cangolf hoping to dish out another solid showing after scoring five points in the fourth leg at Riviera from a first place finish in Class C and a runner-up effort in Class B.
