THE UNIVERSITY of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Jaguars will be hell-bent on redeeming themselves after their uncharacteristic loss in their last outing when they tackle the winless Don Bosco College Greywolves in the seniors division of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) basketball tournament today at the Cebu Coliseum.

USJ-R fell to their lowly University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Panthers last Saturday, 75-80, a black eye that dropped their record to 3-2 (win-loss) and put their pursuit of a higher seeding in the playoffs in dire jeopardy.

They are currently in third place behind the undefeated University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters and the eight-time champions University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers, who they will face on Thursday in rematch of last year's finals.

The juniors division will see the USPF and USJ-R take on one another.

The two squads are heading into today's match-up with lots of momentum after contrasting victories.
