Over P3M await QCIM top runners

MANILA, Philippines ? Over P3 million in prizes will be divided equally among the male and female winners in the international and local categories in the 1st Quezon City International Marathon slated on October 18.

The sweetest pot will be for the champions in the international category of the full marathon, with start and finish at the Quezon Memorial Circle. A total of P300,000 will be awarded to each champion in the men?s and women?s divisions.

In the local category, the male and female champions will each receive P150,000.

First placers in the men?s and women?s 21K, meanwhile, will get P30,000 apiece. Cash prizes, gifts and trophies will also be awarded to winners in the 5K and 10K races.
