Bryant shines as Lakers rout Nets, 103-84

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey, United States?Kobe Bryant had 29 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 103-84 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Saturday.

Pau Gasol finished with 14 points, 14 rebounds,and six assists for Los Angeles who have won 14 of their past 15 games.

Lamar Odom had 14 points and 12 rebounds coming off the bench. Jordan Farmar added 14 points for the Lakers who won their third straight since a defeat at Utah last weekend.

Devin Harris had 21 points to lead the Nets, who suffered their seventh-straight loss.

Chris Douglas-Roberts finished with 20 points, while Brook Lopez had 18 points and 11 rebounds.

The game at the Izod Center arena was played with a blizzard raging outside.

The Lakers, who have the NBA's best record (21-4), easily beat the team with the league's worst mark (2-26).
