Mavericks beat Grizzlies, 106-101

DALLAS, Texas?Reserve Jason Terry scored 23 points and Dirk Nowitzki added 20 to power the Dallas Mavericks past Memphis 106-101 in an NBA game Saturday, snapping the Grizzlies' three-game win streak.

Erick Dampier added 13 points and 10 rebounds while Jason Kidd contributed 10 points and 10 assists for the Southwest division-leading Mavericks, who improved to 21-9 and ended a three-game losing skid in match-ups with Memphis.

German star Nowitzki did all his scoring in the first three quarters while Terry poured in 14 points in the fourth quarter to ignite the Mavericks down the stretch.

Zach Randolph scored a game-high 27 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds in a losing cause while Rudy Gay added 22 and OJ Mayo scored 18 points for the Grizzlies, who fell to 13-16 and deeper into the Southwest division basement.

Spaniard Marc Gasol had 13 point and 12 rebounds for Memphis.

The Mavericks have beaten Memphis in 25 of 29 games in Dallas, including 17 of the past 18 starts.
