Blazers guard Roy to miss all-star game

PORTLAND, Oregon, United States?Portland guard Brandon Roy will miss the NBA all-star game with a right hamstring injury.

Roy has already missed 11 of the last 12 games. He was originally hurt in a January 13 game against Milwaukee, then aggravated the injury a week later at Philadelphia, the NBA team said Saturday.

Roy, in his fourth season with the Blazers, made the all-star team as a reserve for the third-consecutive season.

He leads the Blazers with 23.1 points per game.
