GENERAL SANTOS CITY, Philippines?Manny Pacquiao will clobber Joshua Clottey.
This was the fearless forecast made by the southpaw's mother when asked what his chances of winning again were.
"I have no doubt about who's going to win," Dionisia said on Friday.
Dionisia admitted that Clottey was far bigger than Manny, but she noted that her son faced opponents larger than Clottey in the past.
"And he beat them all," she added.
But even if she was certain about Manny?s victory in his first defense of his International Boxing Organization welterweight title, Dionisia said she would still pray for his safety.
"I will not only pray for Manny but for his opponent as well," Dionisia said in the vernacular.
Dionisia, who has endeared herself to Manny's fans, said she will attend the first Mass at the Our Lady of Good Voyage on Sunday and go home afterwards.
But she said that, as in the past, she will not watch the fight live on screen.
Instead, Dionisia said, she will be praying at her newly finished P7-million house in Labangal village and not in her son's mansion in Lagao.
Her well-decorated house has its own prayer room and is equipped with fixtures imported from Italy by her daughter-in-law, Jinkee.
