NCAA: Letran pounces on winless Perpetual

INQUIRER.net

MANILA, Philippines--Letran raced to an early lead and never looked back as it crushed winless Perpetual Help, 90-61 Wednesday, in the 86th NCAA men's basketball tournament at the Arena in San Juan.

The Knights, who notched their first back to back wins of the season, took control of the ball game from start to finish as they kept their slim final four hopes alive.

Kevin Alas led six Letran players in double-digit scoring with 16 points on top of seven boards.

Jet Vidal topscored with 21 points for the Altas, who reeled to their 12th consecutive setback. Mark Giongco
