LEOVIGILDO Yu, Robinson Yap and Elvis Evangelista combined for 44 points to lead the unbeaten GCM Royalle Merchandise '98-B to a 59-51 win over JRJ Enterprises 2007 last Thursday in the Cebu Easter College Alumni Basketball Association's 10th Dr. Chen Lieh Fu Memorial Cup at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Yu piled up 20 points, four rebounds and two assists, Yap finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Evangelista added 12 markers, nine rebounds as Class '98-B tallied its six wins in as many games.

Juan Carlo Espada had 18 points and Jelster Ed Quimbo scored 13 points for Class 2007, which absorbed its fourth loss in seven games.

In the other game, Asian Home Appliance '89/93 banked on the all-around game of Ryan Alexis Mendez to escape Corner Bakery/Petrogas '92, 55-53.

Mendez wound up with 26 points, seven rebounds, four steals and two assists, while Henry Chua pitched in 10 markers as Class '89/93 improved to 2-2 (win-loss).

Richard Lanutan came up with 15 points, nine rebounds and three steals, while Mitchel Diputado had 14 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and two steals—big numbers that went to drain after Class '92 tasted its third defeat in four games.
