(Araneta Coliseum)
4:50 p.m. - Red Bull vs. Air 21
7:20 p.m. - Magnolia vs. Brgy. Ginebra
Red Bull looks to stop a two-game slide, while Barangay Ginebra shoots for its third straight win when the two squads play separate foes on Wednesday in the 33rd PBA Fiesta Cup at the Araneta Coliseum.
The Barakos meet the Air21 Express in the first game, while the crowd-favorites Gin Kings clash with the Magnolia Beverage Masters in the main game.
Red Bull share the top spot with the Coca-Cola Tigers at 7-4 (win-loss) but the Barakos are on a two-game skid.
The Barakos first lost to the defending champions Alaska Aces, 101-90, and suffered their second straight setback when they bowed to the Coca-Cola Tigers, 102-80, last Friday.
The Barakos prevailed in their first meeting with the Express, 102-92.
Import Adam Parada tallied 28 points, 12 rebounds and four bocks to lead Red Bull in that win.
Air21 has a 6-5 slate, tying the Sta. Lucia Realtors at the fourth to fifth spots.
On the other hand, the Kings climbed out of cellar when they nipped the Express, 97-92, last Saturday in Zamboanga City.
Before that win, the Kings defeated the Welcoat Dragons, 105-70, marking the first time that Ginebra scored successive wins in the conference. It also improved its record to 3-7.
Mark Caguioa led the Kings with a personal conference-high 39 points.
The Beverage Masters are also out to extend their two-game winning roll.
Magnolia is tied with the Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants for the sixth and seventh places with similar 5-5 records.
The Beverage Masters will again rely on import Jameel Watkins and locals Danny Seigle, Dondon Hontiveros, Danny Ildefonso, Mark Pingris and Mike Cortez.
Aside from Caguioa, the Kings will also have seven-footer import Chris Alexander, Jayjay Helterbrand, Ronald Tubid, Billy Mamaril and Junthy Valenzuela. /Correspondent Calvin D. Cordova
