ACT beats DBC to stay unbeaten

Joel Vistal, Prospeto Batiancila and Dondon Nuñez combined for 67 points to steer the league-leading Asian College of Technology (Act) Cyber Knights to a 94-91 win over the Don Bosco College (DBC) Greywolves on Tuesday in the 1st M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala Summer Basketball Tournament at the Cebu Coliseum.

Vistal canned 24 points, Batiancila had his highest output in the tournament with 23, while Nuñez wound up with 20 points as the Cyber Knights remained unbeaten in three games.

The three also made crucial baskets when the Greywolves staged a major comeback in the closing moments of the game.

Dropping to 1-2 (win-loss), it was the Greywolves' second straight loss after scoring a 100-92 opening day win over the Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology (SCSIT) Skyblazers last May 14.
