MANILA, Philippines--Doby Atilano assured himself of the overall plum of the 2009 Philippine Production Car Championship with his eight straight first-place finishes in this series organized by the Automobile Association Philippines.

Though there are still three more races to go in the championship round set Nov. 14 and 15 at the Subic International Raceway, Atilano has mustered enough points to claim the title.

Atilano is being backed by www.myfreegas.com.ph, H&B Wealth Advisers and The Global Investors Center Philippines and is being guided by his chief tuner Ferdie Ong.
