CALAMBA, Laguna, Philippines?John Kier Abdon capped a last-day charge by Ayala Greenfield Estates with a three-under-par 69 as the host squad ruled Division 1 of the Samsung Jungolf Interclub golf championships pulling away from Orchard on Friday.

Edward Reyes and Maan Legaspi provided the much-needed backup to Abdon with rounds of 74 and 80, respectively, as AGE posted its best total in three days of 223 for a 678 aggregate.

John Boy de Fiesta?s 114 did not count for Ayala Greenfield.

South Korean Koo Jae-min and Wolen Superal failed to deliver for Orchard which scored 233 for the day and wound up nine strokes behind at 687.

The touted The Country Club squad got a 74 from Jobim Carlos but managed only a 232 and placed third at 691.

Manila Southwoods checked in fourth on 691, followed by Eagle Ridge placed (699), Valley (724), the two Aguinaldo teams (both on 725), Club Intramuros (726) and Alabang (740).

Club Intramuros streaked to unchallenged victories in the lower divisions, beating Aguinaldo by 16 in Division 2 and Valley by 27 in Division 3.

Kristoffer Arevalo (80), Keanu Jahns (81) and Rupert Zaragosa (85) and Justin Quiban (87) made up the victorious Intramuros 2, while Chloe Reyes (88), Nicolai Abelar (96), Alex Delfin Trinos (102) and Alliah Pages (104) comprised the Division 3 champ team.

While Koo survived Abdon?s charge to win boys? Class A by four, Sunshine Baraquiel scored an upset in the girls? class by turning back RP Ladies Open titlist Chihiro Ikeda by five with a 73-229.

Maan and Mia Legaspi pulled off a winning sister-act by topping Class B and Class D, respectively, with Kevin Paul Orillos and Rupert Zaragosa ruling both divisions in the boys? side.
Keanu Jahns and Lee Ji-hyun took the Class C trophies, Ryan Monsalve and Chloe Reyes shared the Class E awards and Angelo Ballesteros and Bernice Olivarez Ilas were the Class F winners.
