Cardinals, Bombers eye 2nd win

4 p.m.—JRU vs FEU

MANILA, Philippines—Jose Rizal University and Mapua Institute of Technology, sharing 1-1 cards, shoot for their second wins against separate foes in the Filoil Flying V Pre-Season Invitational Cup on Wednesday at The Arena in San Juan City.

The JRU Bombers will vie to sustain their momentum against the debuting Far Eastern University Tamaraws at 4 p.m., while the Mapua Cardinals will try to recover from their first setback against the Adamson University Falcons at 12 noon.

National University and University of Perpetual Help, both aiming for their first triumph, will collide at 2 p.m.

James Sena powered the Bombers to their first victory by pumping in 28 points and grabbing nine rebounds for a 71-64 decision over the University of the Philippines last week.

The Bombers will be up against the seasoned Tamaraws led by Mac Baracael, Benedict Fernandez and Marlon Adolfo. Jasmine W. Payo
