MANILA, Philippines--The Milo-sponsored Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training (Best) Center has been invited to conduct clinics anew in Thailand, this time at the exclusive Bromsgrove International School, a British-curriculum day and boarding school based in Bangkok.
Nic Jorge, who founded Best Center 30 years ago to become the country's pioneering basketball clinician and recipient of the Philippine Sportswriters Association's Hall of Fame Award, said he is set to finalize talks with Bromsgrove officials before he sends his coaches and instructors to Bangkok before the end of the month.
"The invitation is another proof Filipino basketball coaches are recognized by our neighboring countries," Jorge said. "And we are happy Bromsgrove is also recognizing Best Center's contributions to our youth basketball development."
Meanwhile, local Best Center classes are set to start Saturday at the Ateneo covered courts in Katipunan, Quezon City. Classes from levels 1-5 will be from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 am. For inquiries, call 411-6260.
